Dia de los Muertos – Cheekwood

Ah another busy yet fun is already over! And, I will glad do again. As you see from the title, I had went to Dia de los Muertos (Day of the dead) festival that Cheekwood Arts and Gardens (Nashville, TN) put on each year. This was my very first time going. When we finally made it into the festival, it was fantastic! Of course, the traffic was unbearable and just exhausting, but oh well, easily forgotten! The dances, music, art, and food were extraordinary! Everyone did a great time putting it all together.

I now sound like those quotes on brochures and advertisements from people who rave and try to get you to come along. Well, this time it’s true! This place is great even without adding the festivals – it’s just an added bonus πŸ˜€

I do enjoy these types of festivals though. There’s nothing better than appreciating other cultures.
