Another political post, imagine that. Oh well, I think it needs to be said.

If you haven’t heard, it was election day in America yesterday. Time to retire a president and gain a new one. Congratulations Donald Trump on your victory. Regardless on who you voted for, it’s still a victory, so it still deserves an applause no matter how you feel about it.

It makes me very sick of how this country is reacting. I’m honestly so surprised that people still visit or even move here. This place is horrible. We are horrible people. We don’t respect anyone.

We all have different opinions. That’s just the way it is. We’re human. We’re all not going to jump onto the same boat and agree.

The truth is, whenever we disagree over anything, we bash, hate, and attack (verbal and nonverbal) over an issue. It doesn’t matter how big or small an issue is. Even a small thing as a color. If someone likes the color pink, but somebody else calls them stupid and insane for it. It’s ridiculous. Let it be.

Can we all just be mature adults and accept someone else for having a different opinion? It only makes matters worse if we all just bash people all the time.

Going back to the election, Trump or Hillary. I have heard somewhere that an authoritive figure is often based on its citizens. I agree Trump’s personality could use a little work. But, so does everyone else! Hillary, on the other side, apparently is a “liar” and a “killer” and numerous other things based on social media. I’m sure you have heard of people in your area as the same. Just take a look around, or even at yourself. The slightest issue could be calling someone slow to make an order or even to understand a simple procedure (based on beliefs).

Can’t we all just take the high road and befriend and accept others for who they are? And for what they believe in? Without any name calling or riots or possibly both.

There are people who are afraid to admit what’s on their minds due to being so afraid of getting attacked (verbal and nonverbal again). I don’t blame them. It’s definitely a scary place.

Everyone is different. People will not agree on everything. That’s what makes us unique. What we can control is how we handle the situation.

  1. I don’t want to be too judgmental and irrespective of the results of election in America, the world is definitely not going in the right direction. Media plays a HUGE role in this whichever situation we are in. I say, lets see what Trump does. Maybe it won’t turn out as bad as we imagine it to be. But again, regardless of who won or lost, the whole world in general is not a very good place, for one reason or the other.Nice post nevertheless.

    1. Thank you. Yes you’re so right about the media.
I’m just disgusted by how people are reacting to it here. I’m keeping an open mind to Trump. He might actually be a good president. We just have to band together and hope for a better future for all of us (world included).
